As far as I can see in the book the project o'tremens files were Investigatiions, excerpts of what the Agent (infiltrating agent I suppose) reported on duty - hence they might not be full of details...

I think so, but I am biased, cause I follow her a lot. A lot of Australia, less on Canada/USA, but the Calabrian part are v good me thinks
