Re: Joe butch Corrao
I was bored and flipping through the old FBN mafia book and saw the page for Vincent “Jimmy the Blond” Corrao which identified his wife as Jennie Periver and his sons as Augustus Vincent and Joseph Vincent. It made me wonder if Joe Butch May have not been Italian on both sides (or at least not full...

Re: Pretty crazy story ,NYC concrete Empire Transit Mix Inc
The construction industry lends itself to corruption and fraud. There are firms tied to organized crime. There are many others that are not. The largest GCs are gigantic corporations that employ “white collar” college educated PMs, execs, etc, and some of those execs engage in bribery, kickbacks. T...

Re: Massino and Vitale
I recall Richard Cantarella’s testimony or debriefing notes mentioning that as soon as massino got out of jail he was asking a lot of questions about Vitale, his leadership. It seemed that Massino held a grudge or had major doubts about Vitale’s ability or trustworthiness. When you read this stuff ...

Morello and Reina actually went into a business together in 1924 so it doesn't seem like there was bad blood on the surface. A lot can happen in six years. Indeed it can. Which is why it's worth mentioning that we don't know if Reina's murder in 1930 is in any way retribution for the 1921 debacle. ...

Dapperdon SPQR closed many years ago. I think it’s a permanent Xmas store now. Most of the leases on mulberry are up. Lots of places are doomed there This place sells the worst xmas decorations I've ever seen. I don't understand how it can stay in business? I swear it's a front... I’ve thought the ...

Speaking of conflicting information, here's what Bill Bonanno says in The Last Testament about Anastasia's administration. On Salvatore Chiri/ Chirico/ Chiricho: "In the 1950s, if you wanted to get a message to Albert Anastasia, you would go to the Red Devil restaurant. Albert would be sitting...

Think last federal case in nyc to lead to death penalty decision by jury was ronnell Wilson for executing two under cover detectives in Staten Island. Appellate courts later overturned it. I think two different juries may have actually found for the death penalty and each time it was reversed. First...

Hey Chris! Benny Terranova would have for sure been in that Scotto crew. I have that he died in the late-1970s (specifically between 1975-1977), but I can't seem to find my source. I know that up until 1974 he was still a delegate of ILA 1814. I also wonder about some of those other older ILA 1814/...

There are definitely mob guys connected to some of these mca companies. Many of the MCAs are run by Russians, so I’m sure they have a similar OC angle to them. The industry is ripe wjth fraud.

Without knowing a ton about the disappearance other than basic info out there, I find it hard to believe they’d kill him in Michigan and then drive his body halfway across the country to dispose of it. Seems so insanely risky. While I don’t know if it’s true when you think about it by the time they...

This crew was so heavy into construction, especially concrete and drywall, with carpenters union connections. I remember watching one of the Sammy Gravano YouTube videos where he was discussing some deal with Louie dibono and I was surprised how clueless Gravano sounded about the actual construction...
