Re: General Chicago Outfit Info Dumping Ground

New SB article yesterday says he hears Toots has planted th 26th Street crew flag back in NW Indiana. Did they ever leave NW Indiana? The Chinatown crew mostly deals in the gray area of things. They’re big into trucking and and a very large well known trucking company does all of the import contain...

Re: No Nose died three weeks ago

All the hierarchy is old and sick or imprisoned, any young rising star? From the most recent indictment, John Amabile is is in early 30s. His grandfather was “Joe Shine” Amabile who ran Stone Park. Then you got Nick Ferriola Jr, whose father was an Outfit boss, who is in his 40s and Frank Caruso Jr ...

Re: Chicago Outfit Making Ceremony, 1983

He was listed as an "advisor" in a Crime Commission chart put out in 1997 but that's not FBI. He was only out of jail for a couple years before he died and he was very sick towards the end so I am not sure what kind of capacity he served in. Sitting at the OIC snarling at people and being...

Re: Bokabreeze on reddit

Boka reached out to me on Reddit and stated unequivocally that Paul Carpelli was the street boss for Jimmy I and all orders went thru him, which is pretty laughable. But he seems to have some connections with my guess would be suburban police officers.

Re: Current Chicago Players 2020

Personally - that's what I find a little concerning about the Outfit - when they do hits, they are done well. I think a lot of other murders have been linked to them that stay out of the media (Ruggirello being one). You look at NYC and see these murders taking mob bosses down - its just not happen...

Re: Current Chicago Players 2020

I have a question....by looking at all of those Outfit-connected legit enterprises, I wonder if they still contract other smaller contractors, so the guys can take some of their work on sub-contract basis? Because if they do, its very easy to scheme, meaning any sub-contractor who will enter into b...

Re: Current Chicago Players 2020

They won’t ever find out. I wouldn’t say we’re friends. We grew up together, went to grade school together and have stayed in touch. We don’t hang out, we run into each other in the neighborhood and catch up.

Re: Current Chicago Players 2020

So here’s my experience with the outfits younger guys and kind of how I’ve surmised the operation works today. I will not use names as I grew up with these guys and it’s not my place. Here’s a typical scheme that is currently playing out in Chicago- a friend that I’ve known since we were babies rece...

Re: Current Chicago Players 2020

I would guesstimate that Chris Spina and family own between 3-5 million in property in West Town. That would be on the low end.
