Re: Artie Nigro
I don´t understand people who won´t and can´t accept the word "****###" as a derogatory term for persons with African ancestry. Back in the day, ****### did not only describe an African man, but also an African man as filthy, who no matter how much he washed himself, could never get clean...

Re: Artie Nigro
How exactly the Genovese Family has been run the last 15 years is still somewhat of an enigma but according to available information, yes, Nigro was the acting boss. As such he had authority to call shots like that, unless of course the official boss (Gigante) restricted his power. I´m sure posters ...

Re: Some DeCavalcante Family Info (1980s-1990s)
If I remember correctly, Bill Bonanno said that after the Masseria killing, the Newark bosses were not happy about Luciano striking a deal with Maranzano. This sounds to me that they were close allies of Masseria and looked upon Luciano as a betrayer. I think Bill said that they wanted to take up ar...

Re: Some DeCavalcante Family Info (1980s-1990s)
Joe Valachi talked about Stefano Badami, or "Don Steve" as he called him, but I forgot if he said he was Elizabeth or Newark. I think most conclude he was the Elizabeth boss since Gaspare D'Amico was the Newark boss at the time. So, where does Vincenzo Troia fit in? He must have been the ...

Re: Some DeCavalcante Family Info (1980s-1990s)
That´s a good question. Antiliar or B may know. Were Nick Delmore and Phil Amari with Newark before they ended up with Elizabeth?
Do we have an accurate succession line of bosses for these two Families?

Re: Some DeCavalcante Family Info (1980s-1990s)
Antiliar, here´s my guess: Salvatore Cammarata - Profaci John Misuraca - Profaci Arthur Misuraca - Profaci Andrew Lombardino - Profaci Antonio Paterno - Mangano Sam Accardi - Gagliano Joe Abate - Gagliano Benny Pizzolato - Gagliano Lenny Pizzolato - Gagliano I think most of them went with Luciano, b...

Re: Tommy Gambino Jr. (Dynamic Worldwide)
It makes you wonder does the Gambino family go after guys like Tommy and Big Paul's kids who are very wealthy with legit businesses and demand they kick up since it all wouldn't have existed without LCN etc. I know an informant disclosed that Big Paul's son who owns a concrete co had to kick up. I ...

Re: Tommy Gambino Jr. (Dynamic Worldwide)
Yeah. Besides the bang-banging and the dime hustling, becoming succesful in fully legit enterprises by using connections within the Mafia network is a major part of what the Mafia is all about. And reputation helps of course. This method is not something that came with Tommy Gambino though, it was u...

Re: FBI files
There´s a bunch of files on the Bitterqueen site (Scarpa, Gambino, Gotti, Lansky and others).
http://bitterqueen.typepad.com/friends_of_ours/
The problem is they come in pdf format and impossible to post (Copying and pasting). And some of the files have hundreds of pages, sometimes thousands.

Re: The Cicale Files
Man, I'm going to have to start pretending to be English just for you, but my posts will be twice as long if I have to start adding random u's after my o's. I'm not sure about the Cotroni group before the 1950's, but there's no real debate over the fact that from the time Galante went there in the ...

Re: Surviving Members from 1950s Era
"- Dominick LaPuma (DOB 1921)" JD, are you sure this is the correct spelling of his name? In a FBI report, a Dominick Li Puma is listed as a suspected member of the Genovese Family. In SSDI, there is an entry for a Dominick LiPuma, born in 1921, died in 2001. BUT , his DOB does not match w...
