Re: New LCNBios posts
Do Philly, DeCavs and NE have to pass round a list? Or the 5 don't give a f outside of NYC NE passed a list, at least internally, during the days of Ray Patriarca Sr. On the Patriarca tapes Joe Anselmo proposed two names and Ray instructed him to take the names to every member to check for an objec...

Jimmy Ida runs a gambling spot at 161 Mulberry St. It is run for him by Tommy Gigalie, who’s involved with the gambling at the San Gennaro Feast. Gigalie is a made member, sponsored by Eli Zeccardi. Gigalie owns La Mela Restaurant. Any info on Gigalie? Probably dead since Ziccardi was killed in 197...

Re: Thomas Greco FBI File Summary
The Greco FBI file is good, thanks for uploading. I did research into the informants in the file and one of them is likely Genovese soldier James Battaglia. At one point the informant talks about being involved in a stolen goods case with an associate named Morton Rosenberg and that Rosenberg was la...

Anything known about Fat Tony Salerno's relationship with the Montreal crew? On the Palma Boys tapes Salerno says he "know all these guys from Canada, they are all in the junk business...they'll be comin down here to meet with us" and that (during 1983) this 'kid' came down from Canada to ...

Good one on Perugino. Looks like his associate Mario 'Murph' Eufrasio is still alive, an obituary from May this year of his brother mentions him.

Re: Lucchese chart help
Salvatore DiPietro was indeed identified as a Luchhese soldier in that 2006 indictment targeting loan-sharking at the Hunts point market. Can't find online now but DiPietro was ID'd.

Re: Alan "Grecco" Wolshonak
It's been a long time since i read about the Gatto case but if I remember right Cafaro testified that Alan Grecco was not a made member. Louis Gatto was one of the Genovese captains that reported directly to Fat Tony Salerno so Cafaro was in a good position to know.

If the Bonanno family receives money from the Grimaldi bakery it's probably because the Bonanno family is considered to be a part owner of the bakery. Maybe Vito Grimaldi started the bakery in partnership with, or sold a piece of it to, an Bonanno member who has since died and his share went to the ...

Re: What do We Know about the Newark Family?
The Parlavecchio from the Fresolone case was Nicholas Parlavecchio, a coke dealer/auto body shop owner that was a Genovese associate. It's not Joe Polo from obitary. But Nicholas Parlavecchio was the son of Joe Polo. Seems to be a case of misstaken identity/sloppy research.

Re: What do We Know about the Newark Family?
On the same day as Gaspare D'Amico was shot, Feb 22 1937, two Newark brothers was shot in a Newark tavern. John Licari (c 1911) died that day and Anthony (c 1908) died a few days later. Newspaper accounts says they were involved in the 'alcohol racket'. Andrew Licari had a brother named John, who wa...

Re: What do We Know about the Newark Family?
I did some research on NK 1827-C and he was Camillo 'Bill' Molinaro (1913-1983), from NJ and related to the Limandris, who claimed he was a Cleveland soldier that later went on loan to the Decavalcante family (some sources says it was the other way around). According to Molinaro he was sponsored int...
