Re: General Chicago Outfit Info Dumping Ground
The truth usually always lies in the middle somewhere. IMO there is still something organized and structured there. The 28 member number gets thrown around like it is the gospel, and that the feds knew absolutely everything and everyone that was involved at the time. Much of it was probably based o...

If Stanfa garnered such little respect on the street, how did he become boss?

If true, wouldn't La Valley be the first person murdered while in the witness protection program?

Re: General Mob Questions
My question is what is the rule on who can preside over an initiation ceremony? The logical assumption would be it has to be a boss or acting boss. But there are guys that were made in prison presumably not by a boss (I certainly could be wrong about that). I greatly appreciate any responses. I thi...

Re: Soprano’s ‘Death Scene’
The interview where David Chase made these comments is from the January 2019 book The Soprano Sessions. (highly recommended for fans of the show). Not sure why the nypost is discussing it now as if it's new. In the interview Chase says he originally intended for Tony to die at the end but changed hi...

Is Nicholas Ferriola still active? I haven't heard his name since he was sentenced in the Family Secrets trial.

Re: Mafia Books
I'm interested/looking to read some books on the mob, I'm more interested in reading around the late 1980s to today instead of stuff more focused on the Golden Era. If anyone could point me to some good books, It'd be much appreciated Five Familes by Selwyn Raab. It has a few mistakes here and ther...

Re: MOB LAWYER CAUGHT SEXTING
First, I suggest to anyone claiming that the defense of the accused is a ticket to hell should read the following: John 8:1-11, Romans 2:1, Matthew 7:1, James 2:13, etc. Second, the vast majority of criminal cases end in a plea bargain, not a trial. This means that the defendant is admitting guilt. ...

Re: John DiFronzo
Not enough corroborating evidence. Yeah, I mean ultimately I know that's the reason. My understanding is all they really had was Nick Calabrese's testimony. I know it is highly unlikely, but I would love to hear some opinions regarding No Nose and Family Secrets from those involved in the investiga...

Re: John DiFronzo
If it is true, that he's dead, then the man has accomplished a quite impressive feat. He had a relatively long tenure as boss, has amassed a massive fortune (allegedly) and most importantly he died a free man.. Quite unique for a mob boss of one of the great families.. All true. But you can also ad...
