How do we explain all these unknown members? Is it possible the mob has been recruiting, inducting and making guys that we dont know about? That would be a wild theory if true
Well we know thanks to the Rubeo tapes that the Genovese books were most likely closed for a period of time but they've opened up again. Carmelo Polito was made sometime in or after 2018. Stephen Gallo is another one who is recently made.
Carmelo Polito wasn't made until 2018? I remember there was a GL about him sometime in the past 2-3 years stating that he was an acting captain and had basically really gotten his act together and had really stepped up, since we last heard about him years ago as a degenerate, trying to allegedly kill someone to get out of a $60K debt. But, if he wasn't MADE until 2018... that's kinda crazy.
Another recently 'unknown' Genovese solider that we found out about recently was the host at the Friars Club lmao -where the hell did that guy come from?
Anyone know if those brothers from Williamsburg - I think the Mussilo brothers (spelling?), one of them first name Felice... are those guys made? I think they all live in Queens (Maspeth) now but are from Williamsburg
Then we have rumors , not sure where those started from, that the guy "Black" Dom from the Cutolo crew is made with the Genovese and is in whatever crew Carmelo Polito is running...
So, between rumors and actual confirmed incidents, we've stumbled across like 4 or 5 (?) previously unknown / uncharted Genovese guys in the past couple years? That's pretty awesome for any family...but especially for the Genovese.
I'd love to know more about Rom's "Queens" crew and who else is active and a part of it. I was under the impression that Robert DeBello, despite appearing to run a crew himself, was simply a solider and was reporting to DiChiara or whatever the captain of DiChiara's downtown crew in Manhattan was. So while DeBello's guys operated in and around Whitestone, Bayside, Auburndale, etc they were "Manhattan guys" - I'd love to know more about this Corona crew that Rom is running.
