Tagliaferro (Local 926) was actually indicted back in 2019, along with John Defalco (Local 157). This latest article is about him going to trial.

Genovese soldier Salvester Zarzana used to be president of Local 926. He is now involved, along with fellow soldier James Bernardone, in International Union of Journeymen and Allied Trades Local 124 - one of the breakaway locals basically created by the mob to replace lost influence in other unions. Local 124 was involved in the Conrad Ianniello case in 2012.

Looked it up and Local 926 had Genovese influence as recent as 2013 and in fact a former soldier had led the Union and plead guilty in 2013

Not sure if this is LCN involved but I'd suspect it is at some level.
