Regarding the murders, Spirito Sr was on the Sciascia hit and we have the theory that the Seccafico murder stemmed from his beef with the Spiritos. Think the Meldish RIP is just because he was mentioned in the article. Not sure why the three capos got a shout out. Maybe just because they're famous Bonanno hits. Pennisi knew Giaccone's son.
Think "put on the shelf and stripped of membership" is just clumsy wording. Shelved members still count as members and they can be re-instated in good standing. On some occasions shelved members have been officially re-instated at induction ceremonies.
Think Spirito was held at least at Fairton and Fort Dix during the 2010s, don't know where Amuso was off the top of my head. Spirito was at least jailed with Bobby Manna for a time.
