Arrested by the grace of God.

Italian police tracked down a wanted Mafia boss after they watched a video of him being baptized — which provided clues to his whereabouts.

It was filmed off the coast of Pinetamare near an area between the provinces of Naples and Caserta, and authorities immediately recognized the region — and the pastor — seen in the video, ultimately leading them straight to the born-again fugitive, Central European News reports.

Antonio Montella, 42, was dunked into the sea by a priest from the commune of Villaricca, where he had been staying with other parishioners. Cops questioned members of the church, which led them to find and capture the mob boss.

“He seemed like a nice man,” parishioner Adelmo Ladanze explained. “I am sure there must have been a mistake. He kept himself very much to himself, but was always in church at the weekend.”

Montella had gone on the run after he was convicted of drug trafficking, according to CEN.

He will remain in custody until he is sent back to the Italian capital of Rome, where he will begin a five-year jail sentence.
