Rudaj had balls of steel, and he was rly pushing the mob’s buttons the way he was acting. The reason I suspect why the gambinos didnt whack rudaj in the early 2000’s is since his crew would’ve certainly went to war with the gambinos, and the gambinos were looking to shift away from all out violence at the time. The Luccheses on the other hand didnt give a shit, and were reportedly planning to kill several top guys in the rudaj group. Had the Albanians of moved on lcn in the 80’s, then the move probably would’ve failed miserably, with Rudaj gettin popped.

Rudaj was a very ambitious guy. I think if he made his mind that his organization had a chance to challenge LCN in the 80's he would've taken it. He tried to exploit a weakness during a time of major unrest for The Five Families. I expect Gotti, Amuso or Casso would've reacted the same way the Lucchese were gearing to react and wipe them out.

We hear a lot of talk about the Albanians again since Sally Daz was killed .i was curious opinions on if it was ten years earlier or even alittle less like around mid to late 80’s would of the Rudaj Organization even attempt to make a move like they did in the late 90’s earlier 2000’s . Also How Gotti would of acted/ responded to If if they did and Also casso and Vic since there family seemed to be Targeted the most.

Also you don’t hear anything about Massino comment reaction about the issue during that time ,and he was boss of the bonanno’s why was that ?
