It's a lot of time for a gambling case but Joey got caught with now deceased mike cetta putting money up for drugs and phones to be brought into easy Jersey state prison through a co from a connection with the 93 bloods. Ralph perna the father just got paroled and he got 8 and only did like a year and a half off that , dinapolk did the same about and got paroled off three but then caught the new case. Johnny is up for parole in December and if he gets it he'll have done just under two off ten. Joeys parole date says 2020 now which means he either got a parole hit or got in some trouble inside. But either way they went in 2016 and are slated for release in 2022 which is 6 years off ten. I'm state prison your back number or release date keeps going down every month you do depending on your status minimum, medium, max. So it will continue to go down and you get comp time the second you get down there which in there case the ten became 7 and a half. It's way different than a fed bid where u do 85 percent no matter what. You only get 85 for a violent crime in jersey.

OPERATION HEAT

Why was the Perna gambling bust "operation heat" a state case? It seems to me it shoulda been a fed case. From my understanding the players involved were from multiple states. The amount of time given seems very high for a gambling case. If it were a fed case, would they have gotten less time? Also, would it have been possible for the state and feds to both pick up the case?
