Re: Ravenite Social Club Origins

I was trying to find more info on Michael Cirelli, whom with his wife Nettie lived in the apartment that Gotti used above the Ravenite. I found this on MF and apparently Cirelli owned a restaurant in the same building as well? There is a Joseph Cirelli in the FBN Mafia book, whom I'm pretty sure is his brother. I'm trying to find more info on this guy. I've read books that say Cirelli was an associate of the Gambino's and others say he was a member. On GBB I know HairyKnuckles had a post with placed him in the Dellacroce crew.

Thanks Cheech. That is pretty cool that we now know it was in existence in 1947.

For 1958 the name Frank Lofaro is listed. There was a Profaci Family soldier named Frank Lofaro. He is in the FBN mafia book and Bill Feather has a paragraph written on his website about him:

Interesting Cheech. So it goes back to at least 1947. That's a lot earlier than what most sources give. For tax purposes the Ravenite may have had to provide names, such as who was its president, secretary, etc. There should be an entity in New York that has that information. Wonder if Dellacroce's FBI file has any additional information.

Cheech, did you have to purchase this? Anyway, there's a yuuuge gap for 247 Mulberry between the years 1983 and 1931. That's 52 years, and I'm sure a lot of transactions occurred during that period. The newspapers weren't much help except to connect Dellacroce with that address in the late 1950s, which was earlier than most people thought. If you know any real estate agents maybe one can do a title search for that address.

This goes back to 1967: https://a836-acris.nyc.gov/DS/DocumentS ... ax_rows=99
Borough = 1, Block = 00495, Lot = 0026
The earliest name is Edward D'Ugo

here are the rest of the years. Ravenite shows up earliest 1947

I was able to pull in data for 1934, 1942, 1947, 1950, 1956, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, and 1978. The street was abbreviated to Mulbry for these years, so it looks like it wasn't picked up. Before I reship this, do you want the search radius reduced? This area is normally run at .019 mile, but this report is at .125.

from my researcher. will post what they sent me

Thanks Cheech,

Mrs. Michael Cirelli is listed there for 1983. That is the elderly woman who lived in the apartment above the club. I don't recognize any of the other names.
