Junior was also suspected of ordering a number of murders, including that of small time Mckees Rocks bookie Robert Mancini.

Juniors daughter Carla is married to Vince Isoldi, the star of the short lived reality show "Godfather of Pittsburgh".

The other half of Tony Grosso's operation went to Bobby I

An old friend told me last year that he thought Bobby I was the Man. I have no idea.

I don't know you're friend, but Bobby I's kid and associates took over his business...they are certainly the largest operation in Western PA but the mob in the Burgh is over, nobody's kicking up to mob bosses anymore:(

Bobby I, like Tony Grosso, was never made. He had a $3 million net operation per year with numbers and sports betting. Plus, he's in his early to mid 80's
So much for what my friend had to say.

1) 1979 street commissioner James Goodnight (after plowing the streets of snow). Someone had laced his whiskey bottle, which he always carried in his truck, with enough cyanide to kill 70 people.

2) In July 1987, retired McKees Rocks police officer Martin T. Fitzpatrick died after he was tied to the bumper of a vehicle and dragged several blocks. This happened in the Rocks "Bottoms",and if I remember correctly,it occurred on Helen St. This was where the Coffee Pot restaurant was located and that place was a major gambling spot.
The "official" story was that Marty had hit the number for some serious money and ran his mouth ,and he was killed for the money.

As a side note, about seven years after his murder,Bobby's brother Anthony got himself beat to death at Pittsburgh Steak Company in the South side.
This didn't really have anything to do with gambling, but just him being a cardboard tough guy. He did some small time bookmaking, but was pretty much a punk.

One of the other guys at that card game was Inky Alberts...who was very close to Junior. Could have Junior been getting retribution for being sucker punched by Tony a few days after Bobby was killed?
On a side note: Inky's brother was the Superintendent of the Allegheny County Police . Inky racked up about $300,000 in gambling fines that went unpaid pretty much forever. When my Dad and Uncle got their little numbers book raided, the Task Force consisted of the Pa State Police and the Pittsburgh Police. The County Police were no where to be seen.

My Mom's god daughter lives 3 doors down from Carla in Neville...beautiful area.
beautiful area as for the godfather or Pittsburgh I have no idea who gave that idiot a tv show or why he's just a half ass crook who runs some titty bars... I believe one is in McKeesport. Mckeesport used to be a nice hard working neighborhood but now you def don't want to go three unarmed .. That's in the day time... At night you better be carrying a 9mm or 45 with a 15 round clip and one in the chamber nothing less will do. Very rough area. But the ol "godfather" was known to try and make people believe he was the mob in Pittsburgh bc of his Italian heritage. He is a straight up joke.

Who do you know of that he was suspected in other hits? He had a brutal reputation in his early days.
