He was close to Joe Bonanno. He was a member of his inner circle known as the Boys of the First Day and served as an usher at his wedding.
The two were arrested while picking up guns and Charlie told the police he would take them to the source but took the cops on a wild-goose chase instead.
Other than that, I think his dad was killed during the whole “Good Killer” mess and he grew up in Buffalo
