I thpught he was a made bonanno who worked with rizzutos.

Makes me wonder more and more aboit the zips and whtner or not they were connected

Anyone remmember what francesco palmeri was called by rhe italians
if its the same guy im thinking of, which im 99% sure it is, he was an associate and came up as a teenager in Ridgewood with a big group of kids who were affiliated with various families, but grew up together and did dirt with one another. mostly bonanno associates but also colombo. i think Ragusa was specifically under Baldo Amato, and his dad was involved in heroin trafficking and other shit. Ragusa was one of the more violent / ruthless of those kids. frankly im surprised he was even released from prison i figured he'd be serving life
His name rings a bell with Galante as well....?
What about rizzutos?

JeremyTheJew wrote: Thu Nov 08, 2018 7:01 pm Previously Capeci had stated that Semplice was a (??) Acting Boss or some high ranking positon that had a lot of people questioning it meant towards his drug operation and/or zips.

Now he says hes just a Gambino soldier. Still obviously he must have lota prestige to be dealing with who he is.
I don't ever recall Capeci saying that Semplice was anything other than a high-ranking soldier in the family's Zip faction. Certainly not acting boss.
Forgive me if I'm wrong.
This is what was last said about Siemplace which is almost exactly the same :
In court filings, prosecutors have described Semplice, who like Zummo, has no prior arrests, as an influential wiseguy with a "very special relationship" with capo Lorenzo Mannino, an important member of the Sicilian faction which currently runs the Gambino crime family.

They have also stated that Semplice, 55, has ties "to multiple other 'made' members and associates of the Gambino crime family from across the country and around the world." In 2016, the feds claim, he introduced Morena "to the 'boss' and 'underboss' of an international organized crime family from Italy who the defendant knew to be 'Gambino guys.'"

----

I believe that i made a mistake and it was Franchesco Palmeri who the Italians said he was a Underboss as well as given his own narc network
I'm well aware of that, but you stated that Semplice was regarded as a "(??) Acting Boss", when I don't think he has been labelled as anything other than a "high-ranking" soldier.
In the quote that you quoted me at the bottom i said i Was wrong and instead it was francesco palmeri who the italians called him something that was suprising to us as well as discussed.... im trying to find exact quote so i dont get it wrong....

Thanks for the link SP, it's amazing the reach these guys had at one time and the number of politicians and LE they had on their payroll.
They were an all powerful shadow government,
which is the main & basic reason i am so interested in them.
Most people do not understand or even care about this
fact. NYC & Chicago especially. In Chitown, Pat Marcy
and Fred Roti controlled the 1st Ward judiciary. The Outfity got
away with murder as the Harry Aleman case proved. In NYC,
Frank Costello had undated resignation letters written by all
of the judges he approved to sit on the bench. If the judge
displeased Costello, he would mail the letter to the NY Times.
The judge would find out he resigned when he got his morning
paper.
Wow. Are there any examples of this happening?

Im very surprised that mannino wasn’t indicted in this case even tho he was implicated on one of the tapes. Only reasonable explanation is that the feds r tryin to build a big rico case against mannino and the zip faction.

Good gangland. Id say be too long till mannino gets indicted on charges due to the semplice tapes.
