good column this week. awesome column. interesting stuff about persico, had no idea that his commission case conviction didnt include any murders.
re: basciano...its fucked up all that stuff happened pre trial. how are you supposed to prepare a defense and make it to court in one piece if thats what you're going through? thats not right. its one thing after the conviction to be subjected to hell, i guess, but a simple holding in a federal facility while going back and forth to court shouldnt be like that for anyone. theres no way to prepare any sort of defense like that.
in other basciano news, his kids are out of prison (probably have been for well over a year..maybe almost two) and are at Rao's a lot. Basciano and his family must still have some juice out there if they are still able to hold a table down.
