It used to be young guys were the worry. Now it's as Good a chance with the older guys.
Receiving no loyalty, seeing the newer generation, afraid to die in the can... Barone, Massino, Coppa. Young or old makes no difference these days.

And what's with this 'agreeing'? We're in danger of getting along... ;)

Listen Tommy, I actually agree with you. But my point is, never say never.

With alot of these guys, their identity is everything. That is to say, their button.
Now, you take that away from a guy, shelve him, chase him, and you take away his identity. And with that, loyalty.
And when it comes to shit like that, never, say never.
10 years is one thing, but if the Feds pin a murder racket on him which carries life and his old man passes away and this guys been shelved....

Thats all Im saying.

Apologies to B. for the excessive use of italics. ;)

They probably said the same over Scars.
Didn't Scars rat early after sentencing? Trucchio has already done 3 and a half years. If he was going to flip he'd have by now imo. Plus his dad is Ronnie Trucchio, he isn't flipping for shit.
Don't get me wrong Sonny, tougher guys then Alphonse have rolled, his old man is only in his early 60's though I think. He's a street guy and is clearly stand up.

You read Capeci's latest column, Trucchio's lawyer playing down the situation with him and JoJo's son, I think Al's probably apologized or at least tried to smooth things over, all speculation though, he won't be off restrictions for 8 years. By the year 2023 Vernace & JoJo will probably be out of the picture. I'd be surprised if after doing 9 years the Gambino's don't let him back in, after all he's not even out of his 30's, is a legacy and a massive earner, even though he's a hot head. Maybe he'll grow up, or maybe he's just a cunt

Who knows what will happen, we'll just have to wait and see.

Shelved apparently. 3 People over on GBB told me the story over 6 months ago, Capeci confirmed a few weeks back.

100% , correct, people in bensonhurst were shocked it was done to him..it was a canarsie power play. if you grew up or lived in the area ,you knew him..hard to talk good about a guy who ratted, being objective..he was a power guy , who did not abuse it..played football .softball..with all age guys/.put that wise guy B.S on the side when he played..hard to believe he flipped, for me..people whisper he got screwed, can't say it out loud ..or your a rat also..here nobody knows me..i'm about 12 years older than him..if you were out in a club or restaurant. put your money away..seen the show he did, he aged ,must be eating him up..
He was 59 or so when he did the show, I thought he still looked pretty good, about the same from his mugshot. Anyways I have always thought that the shelve/demoted thing was nothing more than the guys swallowing up his rackets and using that as an excuse. Any thoughts? If that was the case than goes to show how greed makes these guys blind. I mean by taking away his stripes you would have to think he would flip? The only way to keep a guy from flipping now a days is to support him and his family when he is locked up to make it less attractive to roll, but in that world who is gonna do that?
Same thing happening to Trucchio now, risky to shelve him but he won't roll

he just came off of the atlanta case , if found guilty 20 plus years.that's what bothers me about why they broke him while in jail.he just went to trial and won..

I was also wondering sometimes if that is what happened to Franzese. Even tough he brought in Millions a month to his bosses they wanted more, than he gets locked up and quits. I sometimes think maybe they stripped him of his title and swallowed up what he had and he just figured fuck it, I have all this money stashed away why not. The only thing with Scars was is that he was facing 2 murder charges so even on a plea he could of been very old when he got out.
