He was indicted as consigliere, although it's unknown if that's a current position or whether Simone Esposito (who was also indicted as consigliere) held that position. It was assumed Zancocchio held that position because the indictment seemingly listed the defendants by rank, and Esposito was at the very bottom.
Then, in a Gang Land article, Jerry Capeci labelled him a soldier without any further explanation.
Now, he's being labelled a capo by the New York Post.
Who the hell knows.
