Interesting....there was a Mike Grilo who was killed in the Bronx in the 1940's. Kinda coincidental no? Wonder if there was any kind of connection.

i think its a relative.

jackie deross wasnt that old in the 90s Colombo war. and i dont think he wss named john?? also i thought he was a Brooklyn guy.

is there any confirms that capone switched sides? its pretty accepted that he was made by Masseria but at this time didnt he have his own wars w the irish?

I believe he was by first being with Masseria and later possibly with Maranzano obviously for a very short time

I was reading staten island advance, in their archieve section, there is a story of a john deross killing a ernest grillo, sept 23 1929. a franke yale guy.
