Could be. I just thought maybe staten island was his base because his last arrest there were allot of guys from SI. Also I thought he was in Jail so I didn't think he was a capo. I told follow NY crews or now whos who etc.

None now. Im sure he gets money from Bella as he cant have anything in his name due to his profession...Prior to his arrest back in 2002 he owned a several joints that are all closed now. He built a huge building on RT 34 in Wall NJ with plans for a restaurant. He couldn't get a license from the ABC so sold the property and opened a Restaurant in Brick NJ. But he got sent away and his wife Lana ran it. She divorced him and ran it for a few yrs then closed it. His mother was a Denino (Daughter of man who started Denino's pizza). The Denino's in Brick NJ and Morganville NJ are owned by his cousins or cousins kids.

Due to the wording of the indictment, it seems that he was the consigliere but was replaced by Zancocchio. For example, when the feds listed the defendants and their ranks in the crime family, Joe Cammarano was at the top as acting boss, John Zancocchio second as consigliere, the captains next, acting capos, soldiers, and then, lastly, Simone Esposito as consigliere.

They didn’t call him a former consigliere, but they said “during this investigation Esposito held the rank of consigliere” or words to that effect.

Better that everyone thinks they are cousins because his Attorney can make a legal argument that he was seeing his Family.
Same thing for John & Pete DiFronzo in Chicago. I believe it also worked for Joey Lombardo and Joe Andriacchi. :)

Bella Momma Rose is in his daughters name and his son works there too. Son ran the kitchen when I was in their a few yrs ago. The food is great there too. Actually all the places associated with John and formal his wife Lana were great places to eat. I have eaten at all of them. I think they be referring to Denino's being owned by his cousins. Which it is. First I heard that a Gambino Capo was his partner at Bella Momma's but then again I wouldn't know. On paper his Daughter is the owner. Prior to his arrest John was there almost every night tending bar and talking with the customers. Most of the people come to the bar just to shoot the shit with him(not OC guys. just normal people) John is actually an extremely nice guy and does not come across as a tough guy or violent guy in anyway. Actually comes across as the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. I never met anyone who didn't like John. He is quite the talker. When he lived in my area of NJ everyone knew him because he talked to everyone. Very social guy and I knew him well. Probably why he had no worries when he split with Lana and Graziano was still a powerful guy in the family. Everyone probably loved him. I'm actually sad for him and his kids that he is in trouble again. I got nothing bad to say about John. Can you tell I like him ..? :mrgreen:

I don't sorry. He is primarily based in Tottenville, if that helps.
