Not sure if anyone posted this, but looks Filippo Casamento died in 2016.

Btw: I thought the Gambino Zips had their own thread on the Forum but I couldn't find it. Did I imagine that? I thought it was like "Gambino Sicilian Faction" or something like that.
Thanks

Thanks for letting us know, jimmyb.
I managed to find a link that has the full obituary:

Does anyone know whether, apart from Casamento's sister Carmela, he had a niece or other living female relative named
Carmela? A daughter-in-law so named? Would his sister Carmela be the president of Eagle Cheese? have been the president at one time?
Many years ago I posted on the Real Deal a photo of the business card you see in the photo I took today. I had been in the store and obtained the business card after having made a purchase. At the time, I had no interest in organized-crime research and I knew very little about either the history of organized crime or current events related to organized crime. I certainly didn't know who Filippo Casamento was, let alone that he started up Eagle Cheese. Many years later, once I did learn who he was, I've always wondered whether the woman who served me that one and only time I was ever in the store could have been Filippo's sister Carmela--would she have worked there if she was the president?--or another of his female relatives, related to him by blood or marriage.
