John gammarano was also inside sparks , they bumped into tommy gambino outside sparks as they were leaving after the murders , gambino was late

Thanks, Cheech. That's what made me think about Alogna. Interesting what Capeci says about Gravano mistaking Pizzonia for him since they don't really look anything alike. Plus, he mentions Alogna more than once when talking about the murder.

Yeah, I found that article. He does say that Gravano confused Alogna and Pizzonia:

If I remember right Capeci once did a column about how Gravano mistook Pizzonia for Alogna (or was it the other way around) as b in on the scene. Anyone else remember this?

Now that Pogo said Pizzonia, I'm inclined to think he may have been the fourth backup and not Ruggiero.

Artuso, Carneglia, Lino, and Salvatore Scala were the shooters. Iggy Alogna, Rampino, Watts, and Ruggiero (I think) were the back ups.

Salvatore Scala was another one. Dominick Pizzonia may have been one too. Don't remember. Angelo Ruggiero was on the scene with a walkie talkie.

I believe Gene Gotti/ John Carneglia/ Joe the German Watts/ Vinny Artuso/ John Gotti and Sammy Gravano as lookouts. Anymore names? There is no statue of limitations on murder - could the shooters still be charged at this late date?
