If any of you are interested, there's a podcast series called Crimetown that talks about crime in Providence, RI. Obviously, there are plenty of Patriarca related stories, but in one episode the creators were allowed to visit Bobo in prison and talk with him. Here's a link to that episode but I'd recommend the entire series, very well put together.

Crimetown is such a great podcast, I think they're doing the next season on Philly?

Based on a previous post in this thread stating that he was in jail, I thought I might have missed something very recent.

That seems to be long gone. They lost that when they lost LIUNA Locals 394 (building contractors) and 1030 (asbestos removal). Today their rackets appear to be low end stuff like moving untaxed cigarettes, stolen property, loansharking, minor gambling, extortion and minor drug dealing.

That was speculation. "Horse" was IDed as the Acting Boss and "Milk' was IDed as Street Boss. “Big Head” was IDed as a Capo. Nothing has come out on who the new Boss is.

Thanks Pogo. What's Mukremin's chart based on?

Also on the members who have flipped list only Salemme, Mercurio and Rosetti were made. You can add Robert "Bobby Cigar" DeLuca, Gaetano Milano and Antonino Cucinotta to member defector list. Joseph Napolitano may be another one.

Thanks for the corrections.

The 2015 Stango busts prove that, whilst they're obviously not the criminal empire they once were, they still have a viable structure and are really doing well from the lack of federal attention. For example they have a boss and underboss with codenames (or maybe they're just regular nicknames that the feds don't know or won't tell us) who nobody seems to be able to ID (Big Head and Milk or something). I think they're heavily involved in labor racketeering(?) or maybe not so much anymore. They also have a much larger recruitment pool than Boston/Providence.

If the in prison guys are accurate and up to date that's 26 made guys on the street and some of those are not active (Patriarca Jr) or may not be active (Manocchio). Only two are younger than 50, one of which is prison. Maybe they've made people recently though, they probably have to wonder what their recruitment pool is like now. Have they historically been notably selective in who and how many they make? Also what's the latest associates estimate from the FBI, 100 like the others i'm guessing?

You'd think they'd have to be bottom of the nine remaining families, or possibly Decalvacante i'm not really aware of their current state.

Americo Petrillo died in 2008. Sal D'Aquila may also be dead. So at least 31 or 32 members remaining.
