Writing a book is like setting off a can of explosives. Look at Eppolito and his Mafia Cop book got him and his partner Carracappa life sentences.
Massino should stay happy watching his tomatos grow and enjoy his freedom with whatever time he has left.

I have always wanted a book by 3 Colombo guys. Carmine Sessa, John Pate, Frankie Blue Eyes Sparaco. I recently read "The Life" by Larry Mazza and it was a great book.
Isn't it revolved around Mazza's affair with Greg Scarpa's wife, and how Scarpa let his wife have the affair? That's what I could gauge from the blurbs online...
It has that in there. It's how he got his start. But it's mainly about The Life from the time he met scarpa, leading up to the war, all the hits in the war and the aftermath. Mazza and his best friend del masto were with scarpa during the war and did the dirty work alongside scarpa. Great look into the Family during a 15 year period.

I think a book depends on how much money the govt let him keep. Maybe in a few years if the cash is running out. Would love to have Capeci do an real thorough one.

Agreed. I never went through this thread until now but I think this is exactly why we'll never see a book from him. He's a rodent for sure but at one point this guy turned the joke of Italian-American OC completely around and had a ton of respect for it. His decision may of been to save his own ass but I bet it haunts him every fucking day.

I’m sure Massino could write a book with at least least 50% of information that’s not out in the public

Surely there'd be a publisher willing to throw a bit of money at one of these senior guys for a bio.

We'd all buy it.
If each one of those schmucks wrote a book each one of us schmucks would buy it! And the world goes round.

Well Cantarella's doing a reality TV show in Arizona, which probably makes even more money and is way easier for a dolt like him.

A Mikey Scars book would be a great read. The post Gotti fallout and restructuring of the family seem like interesting times.I guess it would depend on the author too I thought the Al D'arco book by Capeci would be amazing but was somewhat disappointed after I finished it.

If I had a choice on rats to write a book it would have to be with a credible author. I would want a book by John pate frank Lino and a real gas pipe book. All with their total knowledge of social club addresses plus crew breakdowns. All that they know about both.
