Updated and added.

While I very much want to make a map of this, 1930 will (also) come out in the way of a traditional hierarchy chart. Same with 1931. I have the templates on my other laptop that requires repair. On there contains the 5 Families charts I started for Current (then 2016), 1900 as well as 1931 I believe. Hope to get access back later on this week.

I'm aware that's a bit of a special case

Might be worth bearing in mind that Al Capone was officially a Maseria Capo at this time.

Thanks for the info. Another possible Masseria Capo was Joseph "Joe Adonis" Doto.

According to a source in a document in the National Archives, Willie Moretti wasn't in New Jersey -- or at least wasn't a capo there - until 1933 or 34. A possible person who was in New Jersey during the Masseria era was Samuel Guarino, who lived in Lodi, NJ. He was Masseria's brother-in-law.

Another possible Bonanno Capo is Francesco "Frank Carroll" Garafola.

bronx,

If you want to pm us with the names of your sources, then we can try to investigate. Of course we would need to know who their sources were. Then we can see about getting their FBI files for more info, but remember that they are often heavily redacted.

All this has been discussed at length before in multiple threads. I'm happy to discuss this stuff but the purpose of this thread is for a chart.

good response Chris, i respect it, i gave some points that can be researched, if anyone so chooses, you guys do a great job getting these old time stories on board ,basically that have really never been formatted..it is very hard to go back that far ,those fellows really didnt keep books or diaries, but try to keep an open mind, maybe some of the old timers passed some stories down to new generations..those at times can open up new doors to info..ill pose a question ..what decina is the oldest on going one today? if you anyone knows post, i may have an i idea..maybe..

bronx wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 6:35 am hello Chris, massaria, mineo ,others goal was to kill daquila and as many of his crew as possible, traina was a political force back then he went all over the country for daquila putting things together before and after his death , very well respect ..you know the meet in cleveland was right after daquila was killed, traina was there along with some others that in future would become gambino family . when toto was killed his inner circle would not have peace until at least those two were gone..that is what i have been told by men who have been gone for a long time now. toto drove a bullet proof pierce arrow ,i believe a 1927 .he loved cars..like in the god father his driver didn't show up the day he was killed. again these are stories i have heard from real guys. not guys who read the newspapers back then..when he was killed the press didn't even know who he was..when shot ,he was brought into a pharmacy .9 times hollow points ..well you have my take. if you can research what i have just said .his son jerry watched him get shot.who later on in life became a captain.
I'm sorry but again, I can't take what somebody told you into consideration. Look at it from my perspective, I cannot argue "well according to an online poster who's spoken to made guys about the 1920's..." I- I just can't. I have nothing against you but we've been down this road before and my position remains the same. Salut.
