Re: Gallo crew transfers

I've read somewhere (can't remember where) that they considered Nicky Bianco a Gallo member, but I never did. From the start it seemed he was transplanted by Patriarca or the Westside since both were in cahoots I guess you could say.

I think Mike Rizzi went down once Frattiano flipped right? I think he helped kill The Bomp out there and they made him.

This guy got made on the side of the road by Frattiano and Dragna but I think I read that ceremony wasn't recognized and he was remade by the LA leadership later on. If thats true gotta be a record going thru 2 non recognized ceremonies.

- Vincent Gugliaro

A 13th individual is also mentioned but name redacted. Scarpa said that all these have returned but had, to his knowledge, temporarily been assaigned to the Gambino Family. And as we can see, all of them were later recognized as Colombo members. So the members didn´t switch membership.
HK is that the same George tropiano who is a current bonnano captain ??
No. This one was a Colombo member and died in 1991. Possibly there is a relation.

No. No made member switched from the Colombo Family. All made members who had been with the Gallos during the war were brought back into the fold. Even Larry Gallo was on speaking terms with Colombo. Joey Gallo was in prison so his status with the Colombos was postpoened so to speak. It was after the second war some ASSOCIATES were allowed to switch affiliation. Among them were Albert Gallo, Illiano and Boriello. Why do you ask?
It's very Interesting how the Gallos and the colombos as a whole family had so much talent that ended up with the other fams later on, and on high positions with the new fams. Boss, underboss, capo etc.
I ask because, i've never read that anybody transfered in the 60s.
One may begin to wonder where would the colombo fam would be today, in terms of power, if the colombo war never happened, and all of those guys staied with the original fam, the colombos.
