Since you asked for more I can tell you that Henry was sent to Cuba with a suitcase to consummate a deal to buy back one of Kelly's casinos. He was put in jail and only released after it was agreed that he went directly to the airport leaving the suitcase behind. I was never told how much was in the suitcase. Hopefully it was only an overnighter ;)
I can only imagine how much cash was in there , great story
Yeah probably why there are not many books/movies about them small interest =no money lol
I happen to have an old picture of a briefcase that was delivered to camp for Michael one year. Personally I'm quite surprised that they would allow my Dad to take this picture. It came one day after we got in from hunting and were in the middle of our daily "Happy Hour" cocktails.

This picture represents a weekly kick-up from a second generation Jewish BM who obviously did big time lay-off business, especially during football season. If I can figure out how to post it please keep in mind that this was "real" money back in the 60s and the blue books are the records that were kept for the daily action.

I have it in my Photo Bucket, but it can no longer to copied. If anyone has a answer for me, please do not hesitate to share it with me.
Photobucket no longer allows photos to be shared with a 3rd party. Transfer/Save the photos in Shutterfly.

ALL OUR PHOTOS IN PITTSBURGH MUGSHOTS ARE GONE. We need to repost. Stroccos, FOH...wanna help me reload them?
All the Cleveland ones are mostly gone as well , I can help reload the ones I have. I need to figure out shutterfly as well

JCB1977 wrote: Thu Aug 10, 2017 6:50 am Dino Cellini, also born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio also learned the Gambling business under Jimmy Tripodi and Cosmo Quattrone. Through his connections in Steubenville, he started running casinos in Havana for Meyer Lansky. Scorsese is looking to potentially make a movie about him.

Dino Cellini actually spent a few overnights at our house with Chuck Teemer in the early 60s. I believe that he needed to disappear for a while before he went to London ;) I know, I know: How far fetched is this? I swear it's the truth.
Anything that comes out of your mouth I have no reason not to believe you. You've always been an honest, stand up guy FOH. Plus, you mentioned that to me years ago.

Dino Cellini and Dino Crocetti aka Dean Martin worked the craps tables together at the Rex Cigar Store's basement casino that was run by Cosmo Quattrone on behalf of Jimmy Tripodi. My uncle told me years ago that Dino Cellini also came to the Jungle Inn Casino at Halls Corner when Charlie Imburgia suspected some employees skimming the joint...Dino Cellini was the Lefty Rosenthal of Casino Management along with Mike Velardo from Youngstown, future GM of Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas.

BillyBrizzi wrote: Thu Aug 10, 2017 9:01 am Dino Cellini was also the Mob's man in Amsterdam. There was a story that some security guys at a casino, probably a couple of meatheads, were making fun of Cellini to which he responded that if they would've pulled this shit in the US they would pay with their life for such disrespect.
I found the article where I read the story: http://gangstersinc.ning.com/profiles/b ... d-wins-big

Here's the excerpt:
With De Vries as their local protector, the mob invested $1 million dollars into the Cabala, the first professional casino in the Netherlands, which opened its doors in 1976 with Dino Cellini as manager. The mob brought in its experienced personnel to work with the Dutch casino employees and show them the ropes. A smart move, but things did not go as smooth as planned. The Dutch didn’t like being told what to do. As one former Cabala-employee told a Dutch journalist, “It was a head-on collision between two different cultures. Think about it: In their own country the Cellinis were used to being driven around in limousines and people holding open the door for them. Cellini was a big name in the States, still is, but over here no one had ever heard of him.”

The biggest insult came when one of the Dutch enforcers threw a paper ball at Goff Cellini’s head while he was fixing one of the slot machines. Goff demanded that De Vries take some kind of disciplinary action, but was surprised when the Dutch boss only gave his underling a verbal reprimand. “If you had done this in my country,” Goff snarled at his bully, “you would have been a dead man by now.”
