Some people keep saying that but Capeci was the one who told us Danny Leo was acting boss back in 2006. Also the one who told us Barney Bellomo is now the official boss. Also the one who told us the recent Lucchese case was coming down months before it happened. Not every article may be exciting but he's still a valuable source of info.
You just proved my point Wiseguy. That was 2006 to what 2010. Its been half a decade now. Capeci is all dried up. Doesnt have underworld sources he used to. Only LE leaking indictments like Crea to tickle the wires

Defense Bar Wonders About Stevie Wonder's New Lawyer

More than a decade after engaging in a series of public spats with fellow attorneys representing John A. (Junior) Gotti, Jeffrey Lichtman — a high profile and often equally high maintenance criminal defense lawyer — jumped back into the fray big time this week as the new lead attorney for top Luchese mobster Steven (Stevie Wonder) Crea.

El Chapo just hired him as well. He is doing very well these days.

It's a boring feud anyway compared to the entertaining ones in the old days.

Guys, stop the squabbling. Either get back on topic or take it to the Graveyard.

Throwing your toys out the pram because I don't like a Capeci article, get a fucking life. You say I complain every week, just had a quick look through my posting history, I've complained 3 times about Gangland articles this year and praised a few, nice try.

toto wrote: Fri Aug 04, 2017 12:55 pm Nice try. But there's a few of you who put this shit every week. You have nothing useful to add. EVER. But still every week we get to see your worthless opinion if YOU enjoyed ganglandnews or not. You add nothing to any thread and instead even ruin useful threads.

Maybe if you add something useful your opinion will be worth something but until then nobody with more than three brain cells gives a shit about what you think is good or not.
Youch.
Easy there tiger.
The 'Andy' jibe was just that. Now you've got me wondering. ;)

Let's keep the discussion in this thread to the actual content of the article. If anyone has issues with Capeci's column perhaps another thread could be made concerning that sibject in General Chat. Any beefs with posters of course belongs in the Graveyard.

I gotta say bud this is hysterical.

Because we don't like a segment of a column you go and throw this huge tantrum?

Hey, I love 'Ask Andy'. It's fascinating. Intriguing and topical. It's my favourite part of GL news.

Feel better Andy?

You should ask for your money back.
Are you a parrot?
No. I'm giving you advice on how to solve your problem and its the same as SonnyBlackstein.

Instead of asking such questions you should ask the money back from Capeci that you paid for his column. Every few weeks and sometimes every week the same people complaining. If you found it boring ask for your money back. I'm sure he will consider and value your opinion based on what you paid for the column.
I'd never pay for it. Problem solved.
But still you complain.
Yep, I'm a boxing fan. Because I don't pay for unworthy PPV events, like the farce that is Mayweather-McGregor, I can't have an opinion on it? What a fucking idiotic point of view.

She was deemed "unqualified" by the American Bar Association when she was nominated by Bush in 2003. In a less PC era she would never be on the federal bench, and would be some small time judge in the Bronx for bull shit cases.

Let's get something straight about HIPPA. Neither the lawyers, the judge, or any individual in that court room could violate HIPPA if they broke into a hospital and handed out every patient's medical records on the street. HIPPPA enacts privacy rules for certain "covered entities", including insurers, benefit plans, benefit funds, employers and their agents. None of the persons involved in this case are covered entities under HIPPA. While there may be a general invasion of privacy tort involved, HIPPA is 100% irrelevant to this case. Irizarry should know this 101 stuff. By the way, whether there is a right to privacy to something you discarded has been decided a million times also. There isn't, although a particular use of it may violate something else.
