Good question. With Dichiara the street boss/consigliere and Aparo dead, one would think someone is running that crew. Unless DiChiara is running it directly.

Thanks brother and yea when things are bad with her ... Things are pretty much unbearable and I don't get rattled easily but when it comes to her man... She's my weakness. Strong, independent, succesfful, great mother , maniac... But her crazy is what made me fall for her.

What was Duke/Delligatti's beef with Bonelli?

Yes, that wasn't even the unlikeliest thing about Gallo they promoted as a fact. They said it was 100% sure it was him who had Joe Colombo whacked, on his own initiative. I don't know, maybe nobody knows (apart from the perpetrators), but to me it seems just as "likely" as the theory that the gunman acted alone or that the order came from an alien in another galaxy :) . Without Gambino backing him, no way he would have tried. At least in my opinion, although I am not an expert...But at least I didn't hear about many people finding this theory credible. Even the theory that the FBI had Colombo whacked imo is more credible than Gallo arranging the hit on his own initiative.

In the "Mobsters" documentary series, in the episode about Casso, it's said the it was Angelo Ruggiero who sent Hydell and the other one to kill Casso, no mention of Paradiso I think (although I watched it long ago). Strange, is it a mistake or were they both in it together, Ruggiero and Paradiso?
The Mobster series gets a lot of things inaccurate and leaves crucial things out as well. Like attributing the Anastasia hit to the Gallo brothers. Other sources have said that too, but in the episode about Gallo, they promote it as being a fact. It was Micky Boy Paradiso, whom may or not have been acting on the orders of Angelo Ruggiero. Ruggiero was incarcerated, and it was definitely Mickey Boy who sent the hit team after Casso, supposedly because of Casso's feud with Ruggiero, but Paradiso & Casso had a feud of their own over money from a heroin deal, that was said to be everlasting. In the end, it was Paradiso who had a contract placed on his head, for some time, by Gotti for arranging the attempt on Casso. His friendship with Ruggiero could've also played into that though, Gotti knowing the truth didn't want to kill one of his closest associates, so he placed the hit on someone whom was involved but wasn't as close to him as Ruggiero was, thats my theory. It's also interesting to note that court papers in relation to Mickey boys indictment in the early-mid 2000's list Anthony Ruggiero Jr, Quack Quack's son, as a member of Paradiso's crew. So there's a huge possibility Mickey Boy and the elder Ruggiero worked in tandem to try and kill Casso.

Are you instigating again Sinatra?

I cannot belive you got binned over there. What a joke that website is.

You were the only poster NOT throwing it around.
I don't even bother posting there anymore. I saw what went down with olblue and serp. I believe serp has ties but I also believe he exaggerates often. I love whoever said, "the make anyone and anybody over there." It's so fucking appropriate. There's some decent guys but most of them post here so I check in but I don't say shit. I don't have the patience or the time. We got the cream of the crop here. I don't post much because my life is crazy right now and I just got back with my children's mother which is my main focus along with being the best father I can be but I always check in and love what you guys have to offer. I won't say fuck the guys across the street because they're burying themselves. When it's real, it's familiar and that's why the best and most solid guys are here or end up landing here eventually.

Honestly, I don't even care. I really think SC has developed a grudge or some type of infatuation with me. I said more than once in that thread, that I didn't doubt Serp personally, but understood how someone might, and he calls it flaming. Serp knows I wasn't flaming him, that's the funny part, but oh well...

Back on topic, my mistake in my earlier post, the attempt on Casso was started by Michael "Mickey Boy" Paradiso. And the contract was handed out to two Gambino associates, Jimmy Hydell & an ex-cop, Bob Bering. According to the author of "The Brotherhoods" book, Hydell was connected to the Gambinos on his fathers side to a Gambino member named Corrado "Dino" Marino, which brought the Gambinos further into the plot. Jimmy Brown & Piney Armone would supposedly meet with Casso at the house of a Colombo soldier. alomg with Jimmy Angellino (Colombos), and give Casso leads on where to find Hydell, Bering & Guido. Just adding that piece to show that not always are matters handled in-house, especially when it comes to the violation of another made guy in another family.

Good read about Giganti's case

Stung by Oddfather's funny turn

The admission by a US Mafia boss that he duped experts into believing he was mentally unfit for trial has put forensic psychiatry in the dock, writes Stephen Phillips.

It was like night and day. The man on the tape lucidly discussed the relative merits of two medications administered by the prison dentist vis-a-vis his allergy to penicillin. Cognisant of visiting hours, he wound up the conversation with his daughter, telling her he needed to confer with his lawyer. It sounded like somebody calling the shots - much as you'd expect from the man credited with ruling America's most powerful Mafia crime syndicate during the 1980s, and perhaps beyond.

Yet five years earlier, Vincent "the Chin" Gigante was demented and deranged, according to the sworn testaments of scores of eminent US forensic psychiatrists who declared him unfit to stand trial.

Thanks Pogo, you think they would be worried they might talk.
I doubt the feds would be interested in a mentally unstable, or senile, made guy...I also doubt anyone on the street would be worried about it.
The government routinely drops cases against defendants with those ailments
