So here's an open question about Genovese family operating on Patriarca's turf. As far as I know there were at least 2 major factions, one founded in Springfield, led by Francesco Scibelli and later by Adolfo Bruno. And the other one is in Worcester, which was led by Frank Iaconi since prohibition days. There also a rumors about Iaconi's conflict with Patriarca over vending machines and gambling in Worcester. Iaconi's crew was taken over by Carlo Mastrototaro.
Couple of open questions here, is there any detail info on these crews, how they operated, ect.
Did it worked like in NJ faction of Genoveses? As I understood Springfield, Mass faction had at least 2 active crews.
How did they induct new members? I doubt that the entire crew travelled to NYC each time to have new fellas made.
And what happened to those factions after the events of 00's? Angelo Bruno was murdered and at least 3 members/associates of his crew defected and became rats. Carlo Mastrototaro died of natural causes in 2009.
