Wasn't that guy on some documentary or TV show?

Guys sneak back in for a visit but they aren't pitching a tent.

This is a myth imo.

Being rat is just another scam to these guys. Take it as far as you can, declare bankruptcy so to speak, then go on with your life. They can go back to their neighborhoods even, and nothing happens. The other guys do nothing figuring that this has nothing to do with them, unaware of the fact that the culture that's created guarantees that they will go down hard in the future--often with greater sentences than more politically correct defendants would get.
But only the dumbest get involved now, and low intelligence is directly correlated with drug use, so that wraps it up.

If you guys remember the rat who flipped when faced with just 5 years on Mafia Takedown Day, Reynold Maragni... He was fired as a CI for the same kind of behavior. He kept turning his rat watch on and off at will, he deleted shit that incriminated him. He also went further and was still collecting shy money while being a CI and not reporting it. Plus I remember reading he passed notes to friends of his that he was wired up to the feds and not to say anything bad. These rats are scumbags to the bone. Very rarely can any of them be considered true blue team America

The FBI do not enjoy being made to look like fools before pretrial motions are even finished with. This is a disaster for them and the SDNY. I wouldn't be surprised if a superceding indictment is the only thing they can do to save the day.

Yea it dont look good for the Feds , The guys in Philly that where in the web and not charged and everyone wondered why , Well I would say the Feds knew the jig was up when they relented and gave Merlino his bail package after feverishly denying Bail, More to come after the lawyers sniff around for sure .

Cripple it. A whole year of missing evidence is amazingly bad. Plus debriefings being lost. Its real bad for feds. I dont see it working out for LE.

Yeah cheech, the CI was basically just an embarrassing witness. If it wasn't for Fappiano and Bazzini taking it to trial, no one would've ever found out he was a pedophile. Everyone who did time in that case, pled out before that info came to light. The case was a failure after that

Cheech wrote: Thu Mar 16, 2017 5:57 pm None of it matters. If there is misconduct it gets thrown out. They cant even find some debriefings.

They walk
My opinion, they're not walking. 4 years is still four years. People were screaming all the Garbage guys were going to walk after it came out the CI was a pedophile. Alot of charges still stuck and most took plea's.

They'll plead but we're a long way of dismissal.
Huge difference between the Papa Smurf case and here. This CI tampered with his device and appears to have possibly committed crimes while under FBI supervision. That's fucked up.
With Papa Smurf, we all took plea deals before we knew the CI was a pedophile. Once it came out that the CI was a pedophile, Fappiano and Bazzini both went from facing RICO charges and 20 years to being offered 18 months on the eve prior to the trial. Everyone who got their charges dismissed, got those deferred after Hughes was outed as a chomo. 12 low level individuals, who never should've been indicted in the first place. Thank God. One was my female secretary, the other was the scalehouse guy who was diabetic and in a wheelchair, both had no clue what was going on. Seeing Preet get fired last week almost made up for the 7 months in Otisville.... Almost*
Teflon john wrote:Im betting they walk. If they have good lawyers and im sure they do,they will start questioning the integrity of the FBI and the feds wont want a major scandal so they will let them walk, regroup and try again next time. Merlino has got something most bosses havent had in a long time, plain old good fucking luck.
