What was the presence? Is it the thing B. mentioned with Junior Gotti & DiLeonardo or something else?
But as B. already mentioned, it's the context, I'm assuming there had to be enough of a presence of Cosa Nostra members that had to be represented, to warrant it's own commission vote. As far as the 70s go, I haven't seen any evidence of this. Would be interesting if there were some extremely low key guys stationed there who had crews and a substantial amount of underlings, to warrant a vote on the commission, although unlikely. Like very unlikely.
Appreciate the find, HK. I love threads like these that lead to a good amount of discussion, especially when a mystery is involved like what the hell made Georgia gets its own representante on the commission.
