That's awesome Dwalin2014, thanks! The "Evola" family chart matches the CDG membership list i posted on BHC and RD back in the day. I couldn't remember where I saw the list. I couldn't print it out, so i wrote the names down, but not the source! So I'm glad you found this.

When I see the name "Luciano Farina," I have to think he was related to Ambrogio and Salvatore Farina.

Anyhow, the CDG list was a bit dated so I presume some of the other family lists were too. Still, great find.

Sicilian Mafia families in 1990

by Dwalin2014 » Fri Jul 08, 2016 4:37 pm

I have a list of membership of Sicilian mafia families, made in 1990. There are some mistakes, some information was later proven to be outdated, like Toto' Minore being still the boss of Trapani in 1990, while he was killed in 1982, or no mention of Vincenzo Virga. There also may be some confusion about the excessive number of consiglieri in the Gaetano Costa family etc. However, it's still an interesting list imo. Unfortunately, it's only in Italian, but I can later translate it gradually.

These symbols that mark the position or rank of specific mafiosi:

*** - Boss

** - Reggente (acting boss)

* - Underboss or Santista (maybe the Santista rank is a reference to the Messina province, as they took many of their rituals from the 'ndragheta I think)

rp - Rappresentante provinciale (provincial representative)

r - Rappresentante (representative)

vr - Vice rappresentante (second in command of the rappresentante)

C - consigliere

00 - Former boss

0 - Former underboss

cm - Capo mandamento

cd - Capo decina

ud - Uomo d'onore (man of honor; soldier)

p - Picciotto (maybe a reference to the Messina province)

s - Sgarrista (maybe a reference to the Messina province)

# - Jailed or under house arrest

L - Latitante (fugitive)

D - Dissociated from the mafia
