I would have to imagine Louis Consalvo & Rago are operating in NY again since being released. They operated in NY on Mott Street and Gotti made a big stink about it about those guys recruiting for their crew there..they were taking all the viable talent in NY... There was a sit down over it.

Palermo's crew was disbanded after he was promoted to one of the Acting Bosses in 1997. The Abramo Crew was wiped out in the 2000 indictment. Pretty much the same with the Rotondo Crew in the 1999 indictment. Not sure if any of these crews have been reconstituded or how much presence the family still has in NY. There haven't been any NY related DeCavalcante indictments since the early 2000s so there is probably not much.

Palermo and his NY crew gained power after Riggi went away. Got put on a panel with Charlie ears and some others.

After Palermo and Rotondo flipped did that take the four crews and narrow it basically to one crew?

How many crews are still active in BK right now?

This would have been in the 90s. The Anthony Rotondo, Vinny Palermo, Rudy Farone and Philip Abramo Crews were all NY based or heavily active in NY. There was originally 1 DeCavacante Crew in Brooklyn but they eventually split up over the decades into smaller crews.

I didnt realize that the decavs even had more then 4 crews at any time.. what time period was this? it would have to be back in the 60s or 70s? Did they all operate out of BK? were these crews originally in jersey then moved out to BK? or were they allways brooklyn ands somehow just got connected with decavs?

At one time they had 4 Crews (or parts of 4 crews) operating in NY. They were Brooklyn based (at least they started out that way).

Also Palermo's strip club was called Wiggles. Scores was the club that the Gambinos were shaking down.

Also - where did the NY crew run? Palermo had the strip club in Queens. Scores i think it was called. So is that mostly where he operated?

How did a NY crew start getting power and at one time lead the DeCavs? It just suprises me with NJ litterally being over run by almost all of the five families as well as philly and they still had there own fam (and apparently at one point possibly two different fams) and then a NY crew ran them. I just find that interesting. Is there still a decav NY crew?
