Greg was originally a Brooklyn guy. He moved to Scarsdale after he got married and ended up in Tony Baker's Harlem/Bronx crew. When Tony died he ended up with Braciole. No way was Richie Aprile based on Greg. Greg did almost as much damage to the Gambinos with his mouth as Gotti did. But Greg did it twice. During the Westchester Premier Theatre fiasco, then twenty years later with the Scores case. That he died of natural causes is a miracle. The guy dragged his younger son into the life (who wasn't cut out for it in the slightest, hung himself in the can, and lingered in a coma for almost ten years), and alienated his older son and wife to the point where he was completely estranged from them at the end of his life. Oh yeah, he didn't leave a penny behind either. Greg DePalma is a cautionary tale about that life if ever there was one.
