They weren't kicking up to Stanfa. That's how the prombles started. They were doing their own thing and wouldn't fall into line with Stanfa.

I don't believe there were enough people made on the street for the family to have any real structure left. That whole era of Stanfa vs Merlino was more like street gang shit. It was anything but LCN. Stanfa with the Boozo crew of freaks and Merlino's crew of Club Hopping attention seeking cokeheads. It was a freakshow down there.... lol

I don't think so. He and Ciancaglini continued to do their own thing. Besides there really weren't any crews under stanfa by that time.

Is there any books which detail Joey's rise to the top or is there anyone here who knows a lot about it. It seems strange to me that Stanfa made him and that he went straight from soldier to boss.
