wasn't Stevie Flemmi one of the major informants that were used by the Feds to bug the Angiulos? I think that sonny Mercurio came later into the informant program. Maybe Caruana was another source that the Feds used to bug the Angulo's.
Yes Stevie Flemmi was the one who apparently drew the layout of "the dog house" aka 98 prince street so agents could plant a bug in a good spot. Whitey had not been in there nearly enough to know the layout off the top of his head.
Thanks for your response Jake. Was Somerville gang leader Howie Winter close to the Angiulo family?
From what I've read, he was friendly with them.

Yea I've read underboss a couple times. There were hours of tapes they have to be out there somewhere. I think the audio is poor though.

The book under boss has a few transcripts. Jerry was a smart guy but those tapes killed them

Yea it does. Lots of good footage and imagery. Man, what a time. Wish I could go back and experience one day running around Boston in the 70s.

Hey guys, I am looking for the transcripts of the Angiulo tapes. Do you think I need a FOIA request or does anyone know where to find them? Any help is greatly appreciated. By the way GBH just did a documentary on the Mass lottery. It's 4 episodes long and is pretty interesting. Episode 4 focuses on the Angiulos. Check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2ihy7toxDk&t=1569s

Episode 2 also has some NE OC coverage-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdQzQ3E ... ey&index=3
