Drug traffickers ‘with direct cartel connections’ arrested in long-term JSO operation

Walter Bassett, who was also arrested, was identified as a “documented member” of the Genovese crime family with ties to South Florida and the New England area.
A quick search shows a Walter Bassett arrested in 1994 along side the Genovese Springfield and Worcester crews.
