Per the Crimetown podcast and Manocchio’s one time girlfriend Dr. Barbara Roberts…..Baby Shacks was a strict follower of the “no eating pussy” rule. Straight up told her on their first date he would never do it lol.

I'll never forget this article about him:
"He hid in Ireland for several years, working as a model and at a pub, then moved to Spain where he was captured and returned to the US..."
Kills a drug dealer, goes to Ireland to do some headshots, modeling...lol idk why I get a kick out of that. He got away with it so it worked...
IIRC, Bufalino was suspected of whacking someone while hiding out in Ireland as well.
Was Darin Bufalino one of Salemme’s bodyguards?

According to the Double Deal podcast Louis Manocchio, rudy Sciarra, and Pro Lerner were part of a plot to kill the FBI agent Paul Rico and red kelly.

Here is the link to the fbi report about the alleged plot to kill Rico? https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.htm ... rch=Kenney

there's so much smoke with st laurent being a informant, why would the feds keep going after him and even arresting his wife and son. wouldn't they told him stop doing whatever your doing?? I don't know just was never proven.IMO.

deluca labeled st laurent a rat and didn't or couldn't prove it was the only thing I could come up with. plus deluca was so close to salemme with him dead it would solve a few loose ends for bby shacks

baby shacks have st laurent the ok to have deluca killed when he got out in 05. deluca held that against him. then when they get indicted for the strip club shakedowns flips on him then everyone

Little_Al1991 wrote: Mon Dec 09, 2024 5:05 am New England is also finished from what we know (on its last legs pretty much)

Why is it on its last legs? My knowledge of families outside of NY is pretty limited

Refusal to induct members or is there just nobody left to induct? At this point, whatever is left in terms of made members are probably all legit (that’s an assumption)
With Manocchio's passing, there are 4 known members left in Providence. The remaining 20-odd members of the family are in Boston. About half of the remaining membership has been indicted for anything criminal over the past 25 years. The rest likely inactive and/or legitimate.
3 real members left that we know about. Jr doesnt count imo. Joe has been legit for a while. Matty's health isnt great. And Vito is still around but who knows to what capacity. A guy to watch out for in Prov that could have a little steam is AP. He just got out. Well respected. Tough. From my understanding there was rumor he finally got straightened out, along with Albie, who has refused his button several times from everything i've heard. This was around the time when they allegedly " made Dino". Which I still don't believe because he's not 100% Ital, but in this current landscape who tf knows.
What would be even the process of making people into that family now? Dino kicks up money to probably just Matty, let's say. Then what, Matty makes him? Does his name get passed around and to who? Who has a say? If it's just him and Matty doing their thing?

What makes you say no one cared? This guy was a legend in NE and respected by guys all over the nation.
Hi Jake and was Manocchio one of the smartest mobsters in New England as he distrusted Flemmi and warned Frank Salemme that Flemmi was no good according to the book rifleman?

Also didn't Baby Shacks help to stabilize the crime family after the violent reign of Frank Salemme?
He did. Esp since him and Deluca had no love loss between them. Deluca snubbed Louie on multiple occasions because of his loyalty to Boston being a Prov guy. That always rubbed Louie the wrong way.
Thanks for your reply and was Louie friends with Frank Salemme?
