I don't know what the disagreement is. I don't know if anyone is arguing this scheme was smart, nor that Petrosillo was smart.
Bro.... you took the words outta my mouth. I don't know why Blunts is so mad.
I just asked...number 1.... why planes, why NOT the mail? Number 2, why Liverpool? And number 3, there are lucrative alternatives to this "Cali weed" that these dudes seem to tunnel vision over. Like the BC bud the Bonnanos were DRIVING DOWN from Canada. Or the Oklahoma stuff.
It's nothing to get insulting or personal over. I'm really just criticizing this Italian for having access to such resources and being a bone head. Dudes are going from Cali to Chicago getting caught up, but an INTERNATIONAL flight is somehow....better? Somehow less risky? The money is worth it? Not at that markup.
What....250, 350$? It's the same markup as sending the stuff to fuckin Atlanta or wherever.....
Shit let's trade then... send me some of that good Moroccan.....
These are all valid questions ^
I think they thought a private plane wouldn't be screened so rigorously. They wouldn't have done it if they thought they were going to be stopped/intercepted. They were under the illusion that they would be able to walk on the plane no questions asked. Plus, the appeal/pageantry of taking a private jet is nice. If this Spears guy was photographing everything, I would imagine him and his girlfriend were posting photos on their Instagram of their private flight to England, minus the drugs.
Why Liverpool? Well, I guess that's where their connection was. The whole of Greater England is traversable in about 3-4 hours. It's not a big island. The thing with drug dealing, as I'm sure you know Cabrini, is that there's no universal price or marketplace that exists as it would if it were legal. Because it's illegal, the price for an individual is dictated by whichever connections they have. Granted, the internet makes things a lot more universal these days.
Lastly, I would just like to add; the reason we're reading about it in Gang Land News is precisely
because it was boneheaded, ill-advised, reckless, stupid. Drugs circulate the globe incredibly efficiently, without private jets or culprits taking photographs.
