All those addresses are straight from the 1983 members list so I can't attest to their accuracy.
On the other side of things, I’ve known Bronxites who have essentially never been to Brooklyn. I used to work with this one chick who literally couldn’t find Brooklyn on a map (she thought it was out in Nassau County lol). Another person I know was unaware that Brooklyn, geographically, is on Long Island. These are born and raised New Yorkers, of course. Many such cases.

Johnny: who are the the guys living in Soundview as of 1983? That was already a very rough area by then.

Also, who were the Colombo guys living in Throggs Neck and Country Club? I’m unaware of any guys from that Family having lived in that part of the Bx.
Soundview has Pasquale Genese of the Genovese family at 1219 Colgate Ave, Michael Bove of the Gambino family at 1171 Morrison Ave, Felix Monaco of the Genovese Family at 1922 Powell Ave, Peter Barrata of the Gambino Family at 1253 Virginia Ave and John Daniello of the Gambino family at 2130 Haviland Ave.

You're right about Colombos in the Bronx, I mixed up the colors for the Colombo and Bonanno families.

Colombo - Yellow
Bonanno - Green

Sorry about that my mistake, if a mod can correct my original post that would be appreciated.
Haha, the color mixup makes things make a lot more sense now.

Interesting about Pasquale Genese, if he was living at Colgate and Bronx River Ave that late; same with Bove on Morrison Ave. By the early 80s that had become a very rough area even by Bronx standards, just around the corner from the Bronx River Houses. I know a lot of old time Boricuas from that section of Soundview. Until the 60s, it was heavily Jewish. There were a few Italians, though not as many as a bit farther east in Unionport (the neighborhood where you have Monaco, Barrata, and Daniello living) and Castle Hill, or down in Clason Point. Unionport — which most people today just call “Parkchester”, though originally that only applied to the actual Parkchester housing development — still had a lot of whites by the early 80s, though many began to leave soon thereafter.

Also interesting that Genese lived right down the block from Colgate Gardens, which was at the NW corner of Colgate and Westchester. This was an important Latin club for decades, where big acts like Celia Cruz played frequently. Makes me wonder if the Colgate Gardens was “with” the Westside (good chance I’d think).

The 3 census tracts right above Dyker Beach Park are between 51-61% Italian, which seems to be the highest in South Brooklyn. Berger beach is 42%.

Those are some very very cool charts to see. From my count there's only 7 guys left in Manhattan on the 2023 map. Any idea who that lone Lucchese is in East Harlem?

Wiseguy - Is there a thread dedicated to the map you made?

Yes there is a name for every pin but I'd have to link you to my personal google maps account which I'm unwilling to do no offense but if you have any specific questions like Tony I'd be willing to answer them no problem.

I did the same thing as Wiseguy years ago but with the 1983 members list.

Lucchese - Purple
Bonanno - Yellow
Genovese - Red
Gambino - Blue
Colombo - Green

I'll post some close up shots when I get a chance.
