Those tidbits of info about Frank Bonomo are gold, for example him attempting to slash someones face in the middle of the day on the street. I think more info or bios on old timers like him would help your channel a lot. Is there anything else you could mention about Bonomo's character ? (unless you plan to do a piece on him)

Happy New Year
agreed that was a great episode.

Scillian heroiin guy. some in laws where very close to him and i hear he was a serious guy, but other than a bust in the 70s there is nothing on him. very under the radar. owned restaurants in bk. Batistas on ave N and at some point had something to do with the el caribe.
My wife was very close with his daughter Josephine when they were kids. The family still owns Aliotta Pastry Shop on Ave N very close to where Batista used to be. The story I remember hearing on him when I was a kid was that he did a huge deal and got a bunch of time for it but it was worth many millions and he had all the money waiting for him when he got out.
just looked at my aunts fb friends and his daughter josephine is on there. i wont get too familiar on a forum but in that area your wife and my aunt, uncle are probably at least associated with each other. small world merry xmas

Thanks again, Frank. You’ve saved me time by helping me decide not to keep pursuing what is sure to be a dead end.

I may look at the puzzle from a different angle, though, and I’ll report back here if I find the piece.

Hello Mr Frank, iam back. Thanks for everything.Great episode on your uncle.Vicious circles is one of the best books you can find out there when it comes to this subject.70s OC.I have same question as moneyman about Philiph Navarra, coz i have Philip Navarra in my notes dob 1913 as Bonanno guy,and i dont know exactly,I have to look for it,but I think the mention of this guy was in some kind of relation with your uncle. The guy Philiph, along with Tony Giordano they all had reputation as killers by the 70s.Iam preparing Email for you in few days. Two more photos of Frank Navarra
