Scott, I am a recent subscriber of your show and I've read your reports for a few years now. For one reason or another, I disagree with a lot of your critics on here on how they've reacted to your stories, including the one in question here. I would like to see a lot of them own up to their own hypocritical shit-talking but its the internet so they probably never will.
But...if your reporting is consistently accurate, and you remain interested only in the objective truth -- it will show. No need for the 'empire' stuff. It'll make people doubt your credibility if they know your ego has a vested interest in what and how you choose to investigate & report. Maybe you were referencing Artie Bucco, I don't know. Is it about you or the stories?
Same with a lot of your naysayers. What's nasty about it is they're more interested in being right than what the truth is.
