were/ are capolla's kids involved w the mob?
And who was the father and how would he know?
The article goes in-depth about Cappola. Paul Senior was Brother Moscato's partner in their PJP Landfill venture. Paul Senior is alleged to have buried Hoffa's body in the New Jersey dump.
One of Cappola's sons, Frank, is described by Moldea as a former "top lieutenant" of Vincent Ravo, a New Jersey Genovese associate. He had a criminal record, per the article, but it is not discussed further I don't think. Ravo seemingly showed Phillip Moscato Jnr the location of Hoffa's body, calling it "sacred ground" and is further alleged to have assisted in the burial.
Interestingly, Ravo may have been a nephew of the Sica brothers in Los Angeles and is listed on the 1969/1970 LAPD chart as a "soldier/button." He worked for the Sicas as a bartender at their Sunset Valley place and was arrested on kidnapping charges in San Diego during the late 1960s.

Dan Moldea has two really cool articles about his dealings with Moscato, his relatives, partners and his Hoffa-New Jersey theory as a whole:
