Does anyone have any info on whether Ernie Muscarella has his own crew separate from the Bellomo-Falcetti 116th lineage? And if so who the members might be outside of Muscarella's stepson?
Sal Larca was with Ernie Muscarella in the early 2010's.
Senior, Junior or both? Was Muscarella's crew separated from Bellomo's by the 2010s?

I had thought one of the Larca's went with Ardito -- which may be now Balsamo's crew right?
Muscarella and is from the Bellomo crew. I've never seen anything that suggested they separated. There was some info that suggested Larca may have been transferred from that crew to Ardito's, which may now be the Balsamo crew.

yeah, I also assumed he was probably in the same crew with the guy who died as well

Maybe they do this and just didn't show up on this specific surveillance outing - but for something like this would the non-Bronx Lucchese crews send someone to go pay respects? Captain or someone well regarded from the crew?

Are you talking about companies like Dicarlo?

Do you know a lot about the produce business? If so, I'm asking for a reason.
Kind of like that, yeah. DiCarlo may be bigger than the distributers at Hunts Point, I'm not really sure. Some big ones at Hunts Point are Katzman and this A&J mentioned in the thread here. I don't know much about the business. My ex works kind of works in the business, but I have a family member who does consulting for other cities in helping them try to set up, or streamline what's existing, their local versions of Hunts Point and large markets Through him I've gotten to visit Hunts Point a few times and do an educational tour on how it all works, meet the distributors, tour their stands. Pretty interesting stuff based on volume alone, but not really my wheelhouse

Cool thread. It'd be cool to see documented info of other wakes similar.

LMAO at his apology to the court and to the union members. Especially the last part of it: “I just want to apologize to the court for letting my members down,” he said. “Now I know what I did was wrong — which I didn’t know then.”

Curious to know which crew he was in as well. I'm speculating that he wasn't in the 116th crew. Besides the 116th Crew which seems to be "at large" all over the damn place all the way from Manhattan up to the northern part of Westchester... there are at least two other Bronx "based" crews, right? Parello's 'Little Italy / Arthur Ave' crew and a more East Bronx and Morris Park based one? I say the neighborhoods in light quotes because we know these guys live and operate all over the place

Next question could be a different post or even a different thread, but who is Joseph Tantillo (Lucchese Soldier) ?? Does he have anything to do with the Tantillo produce company at Hunts Point? There is a Tantillo family who runs a pretty big produce biz at Hunts Point - where as of the time of this funeral, it wasn't like there was a huge array of little mob linked produce companies and a bunch of little bullshit ancillary companies set up for mob guys. There's like a solid core of family owned (not LCN family) big, legit produce businesses there - and a pretty clean well oiled machine. Being that mob guys have inroads to all of the other industries that make Hunts Point even exist, yeah sure ...not crazy for them to have some involvement at the actual market. But a made guy directly owning a biz? It's not like the Fish Market in the 1970s. If a made guy is really linked to direct ownership of one of the biz there, that's ridiculous - you'd think they'd keep someone like that as a close associate, at best. Probably isn't the same Tantillo? But if so..jesus christ

The owner of A&J Produce at Hunts Point is named Joseph Tantillo. No idea myself if it’s the same Joseph Tantillo (I agree that it’s unlikely that in this day he’d have his name as the owner of a company at Hunts Point), or possibly a relative.
