The follain book is the book i just read. i was wrong. i haven't started blumenthal book yet. Apologies. The Follain book made it seem like provenzano was second fiddle to riina and leggio or is my comprehension horrible. he was part of the triumvirate, yes? but not too much about him. im a little bit into last days of sicilians by blumenthal-- so far, so good. Stick w it? Also, i'm halfway through octopus but haven't touched it in a month or so for some reason. there are so many ppl in follain book its impossible to remember who is who!

Thanks very much, jimmyb

The Last Godfathers by John Follain is a fast read. It's about Corleone. "Boss of Bosses" by Claire Longrigg is a great book imo. It's about Provenzano.

Addio Cosa Nostra is good, but it's in Italian and in hardcover only as far as I know. It's also hard to find in the states. I think I got my copy off the Italian EBay. EDIT: Looks like there is an ebook version on Amazon.
