John Aliar is also just beyond lucky that nobody cares about Junior Gotti to actually go out of their way to find him or he wouldn’t be in the Freehold Area, he would be hiding in a trailer park down South somewhere with all the other rats. Merlino has declined to identify him - he did a thelephone interview with the Inquirer right after the picture was published. According to an inside source ( https://www.inquirer.com/politics/phil ... 30123.html), he's just a friend of Merlino's.

I get that he's joking. I just wanted to find out who started the rumor. Looks like some source told it to Jordan Sekulow, and he tweeted about it without doing any fact-checking first. So thanks for the link.

I'm guessing that Merlino and his crew appreciated the pass-through income deduction in Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act given that they are all, uh, "self-employed." (I know I love it, at least. That was one monster tax cut!)
