A truly bizarre article. This was one of my favorite parts, especially within the context of this being a 74 year old man here...
On the backseat, the trooper allegedly found rolled-up $20 bills with white powder residue in a jacket.

"At that point, Ingrao spontaneously stated, in sum and substance, that he was worried about 'the drugs,'" the affidavit said.

Only Juliano bust years ago, nothing has come out of Albany, just whispers that Crea has put a guy in charge of a union outfit a few years ago. The Genovese family had their hooks there till Pagano retired, they might still have someone up there still. Who knows.

Well, there's at least been identifiable mob activity in Springfield over the past decade or so. The same can't be said about Albany. But it seems the cupboard was pretty bare with the Springfield crew and the latest bust may have all but finished them. Time will tell.
The gamblers that placed bets with he Bruno crew didn't go away nor did the card games. More then likely someone is running the gambling rackets there in W MA.

I don't think so. At least not really anything I can think of. The Joseph "Sonny" Juliano bust some years ago came out of Albany but everything in it involved the crew's operations in Brooklyn. Michael Pagano Jr., a Genovese associate, oversaw the NY Laborers fund in Albany but retired back in 2004.
