The Violis who left online condolences are from Sinopoli, the same hometown where Paolo Violi was born. But I haven't yet determined how those Violis leaving condolences fit into the Arcadi-Sicari-Bartolo family tree.

On the last day of 2024, Francesco Arcadi’s mother-in-law — Marianna (Bartolo) Sicari — passed away.

One-time Loreto funeral director and principal Freddy Ruscitti left online condolences, just as he did when Arcadi’s sister Giulia died. But this time, it’s the Violis who have recently left online condolences for Arcadi’s mother-in-law who have me intrigued. I’ll try to build more branches of the Arcadi-Sicari-Bartolo family tree.

Great work, Antimafia. Makes sense why Domenico Violi was still in contact with Arcadi during the last investigation.

Excellent infos antimafia. The fact that Violi attended his wedding also seems to indicate that Arcadi was probably a "piccioto" at that time, something I didn't know, I thought he had started to emerge in the 80s.

I also didn't know (or didn't remember) that he was related by marriage to Vincenzo Sicari. Note that the year 1969 was busy for Vicari because he was caught in possession of 3200 counterfeit 10 Canadian dollar bills. He was then sentenced to 30 months.

With Arcadi's sister Giulia having passed away just recently last Wednesday, I thought I'd post here any information I have about the Arcadi-Vallone and Sicari-Bartolo family trees.

Her funeral-home visitation at the Rizzuto clan-owned Loreto took place yesterday; the funeral was today. Link to the online obituary:

Francesco Arcadi was born Oct. 6, 1953 in Sant'Agata del Bianco (Reggio Calabria) to parents Giovanni Arcadi and Grazia Vallone. Francesco Arcadi married Maria Agata Sicari (b. Dec 20, 1957) at the well-known [i]Église de Notre-Dame-de-la-Défense[/i] (Italian name: [i]Chiesa della Madonna della Difesa[/i]) in Montreal's Little Italy on Feb. 28, 1976 -- both were living in Rivière-des-Prairies (RDP) beforehand; back then she signed her name "Agatha" on the marriage return. The marriage was witnessed by acting Bonanno captain Paolo Violi and his wife, Grazia (Luppino) Violi.

Maria Agata's parents are Domenico Sicari and Marianna Bartolo. I'm delving into whether Arcadi's father-in-law is somehow related to the Montreal pizzeria owner Vincenzo Sicari who met with Siderno Group [i]commissione [/i]member (same as [i]camera di controllo[/i] member) Filippo Vendemini in the 24 hrs. before the latter's murder in Toronto on June 29, 1969 at approx. 2:00 am; in fact, Vendemini dropped off Sicari at the airport at approx. 1:30 am.
